Rampak Kendang is an artistic performance presented by playing together "kendang" in a group. "Rampak" is a Sundanese word means "group", similar to to the word "group" in "vocal group", contrast to a "solo" performance. "Kendang" is the Sundanese-style wood drum, similar to that of Javanese and Balinese. It is also self explaining that other than its interlocking rhythms, Rampak Kendang is also entertaining due to the happiness shown by the players. "Sundanese" itself represents an ethnic group living in the western part of the island of Java, Indonesia.

This video was performed during "Indonesischer Kulturabend 2003" (Indonesian Cultural Evening) organized by Swadaya Indonesia München (Munich, 6 June 2003). The style of the performance was studied from Lingkung Seni Sunda (LSS) ITB, where one of Sabilulungan's member was still active there.
