Semester Opening Ceremony - TUHH - October 17th, 2003
Angklung-Orchester Hamburg proudly performed in front of new students of Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH). The performances were conducted twice, in the welcoming party of International Students and the opening winter semester of 2003/2004.
This event was attended not only by new students of TUHH, but also by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Nedeß, the President of TUHH and his staff. The event was considered as a powerful medium to promote Indonesian culture, as well as the international value of TUHH.
In the event, songs of Jali-Jali, Kicir-Kicir (both Traditional Batavian Songs) and Besame Mucho (pop hits by Consuelo Velazquez) were performed.
